Hazardous Waste Testing & Characterisation in Ahmedabad

NABL-accredited waste testing

Accredited characterisation of hazardous and industrial waste — TCLP leachate, calorific value, flash point and heavy-metal analysis to determine safe disposal, incineration or co-processing routing across Gujarat.

Aura Environmental Services Pvt. Ltd. is a NABL-accredited hazardous waste testing laboratory in Odhav, Ahmedabad. We characterise hazardous and industrial waste — TCLP leachate, calorific value, flash point, and heavy-metal analysis — to classify waste and determine landfill, TSDF, incineration or co-processing routing under the Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management) Rules and GPCB norms.

What we test

Characterise waste for the right disposal route

From full profiling to leachate and calorific value — the data your TSDF and GPCB require.

Waste Characterisation

Full physico-chemical profile to classify waste and confirm its hazard category.

TCLP Leachate

Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure for landfill and TSDF acceptance.

Calorific Value

Gross & net calorific value for co-processing and incineration suitability.

Flash Point & Ignitability

Flammability classification for handling, storage and transport.

Corrosivity & Reactivity

Hazard-property screening — pH, corrosivity and reactive characteristics.

Disposal Suitability

Guidance on landfill, incineration or co-processing based on results.

Parameters we analyse

Hazard, leachate & energy parameters

Our NABL scope covers the properties that determine how waste must be classified, transported and disposed of safely.

Share your waste stream and disposal route and we’ll recommend the right test set.

Hazardous waste testing FAQs

Is your waste testing NABL accredited?
Yes. Aura is a NABL-accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) laboratory in Ahmedabad. Our hazardous waste characterisation reports are accepted by TSDFs, co-processors and GPCB for statutory compliance.
What is TCLP testing and do you offer it?
TCLP (Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure) measures how much of a contaminant leaches from waste — used to decide landfill and TSDF acceptance. Yes, we perform TCLP leachate testing for heavy metals and other parameters.
Do you determine calorific value for co-processing?
Yes. We measure gross and net calorific value along with moisture, ash and chlorine to assess suitability for co-processing in cement kilns or incineration.
How long does waste characterisation take?
Most waste characterisation reports are delivered within 3–7 working days of sampling. TCLP and specialised analyses may take a little longer — we confirm the timeline with your quote.
Do you collect samples from our site?
Yes. Our trained team collects representative waste samples across Ahmedabad and Gujarat with correct handling, preservation and chain-of-custody so results are valid and defensible.
